About Me (This one is for my new little buddies)

Hey new friend! My name is Sophie.

• I’m going new nanny here in Morzine, France. Although I grew up in London, I’ve lived here in Morzine for 3 years, so I know all the best spots to hang out and play!

• I used to be a teacher, and my special subject was art. So, if you’re into art too, let me know and we can get creative either at your holiday home or out in nature.

• I love spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains. Hiking and skiing are some of my favourite activities. But watch out, I might challenge you to a snowball fight!

• Fun fact: I used to be a canoe teacher at the summer camp from the movie Parent Trap! I spent 2 amazing summers swimming in lakes, hiking mountains, building fires and sleeping in tents. If you want to get involved in any camp-style activities, let me know.

• I enjoy baking cookies and cakes, and I can't wait to share some delicious treats with you. My chocolate chip cookies are so good, they have been known disappear before they cool down, but I do always try and save some for parents too! I also know all the best spots in town for a hot chocolate with whipped cream - which tend to go together nicely with a home made chocolate brownie.

• My favourite colour is green, and I love all kinds of animals. Well, except for mosquitoes. Who can honestly say they like mosquitoes? Thankfully we don’t have very many of those here in the mountains.

• I am learning French, so we can have fun practicing together if you’d like to pick up some skills while you’re on holiday.

• Reading stories is one of my favourite things to do, and I have many exciting books to share with you. I’d love to hear your favourite books as I’m always eager to add to my collection.

• I can't wait to get to know each of you and have lots of fun adventures together. Let the fun begin!
