Packing Checklist for a Fun Summer Holiday in Morzine!

Packing Checklist for a Fun Summer Holiday in Morzine!

Hello, little adventurers and parents! πŸ”οΈπŸŒž

We’re off to the beautiful Morzine for an amazing summer holiday filled with adventure and fun. To make sure we have everything we need, let’s go through our packing checklist together. Ready? Let’s go!

Clothing

  • T-Shirts (6-8) – Let’s have at least a different one for each day - sometimes things get muddy when we’re exploring!

  • Shorts (4-5) – Perfect for sunny days.

  • Long trousers (2-3) – For cooler evenings and hikes.

  • Jumpers/Hoodies (2-3) – Keep warm when it gets a bit chilly.

  • Light Waterproof Jacket – Mountain whether can be changeable! Just in case it rains a little.

  • Swimwear (2) – For pool fun and lake splashing! (swim nappies are great for the really little ones - they are cheaper in the UK and it can be hard to get some sizes in Morzine), floaties or armbands are great to bring too!

  • Socks & Underwear (Enough for every day + extras) – Always good to have spares!

  • Pajamas – Cozy for bedtime after a day of adventure.

Footwear

  • Comfortable Walking Shoes – We’ll be exploring a lot! Also for activities like Indiana Ventures, close tow shoes are required.

  • Sandals – For easy breezy days.

  • Water Shoes – there is lots of little rivers and splashing spots in Morzine. But the ground is often rocky and can be sharp. Brining shoes that are okay to get wet ensures maximum fun.

Outdoor Gear

  • Sun Hat – Protect that precious head from the sun!

  • Sunglasses – Cool and protective.

  • Light Backpack – For carrying treasures and snacks.

  • Water Bottle – Stay hydrated, always!

Fun Stuff

  • Favorite Toys – Bring a couple of small ones to play with (I always bring a box of toys for us to play with but I’d love to meet your favourites too!)

  • Books/Activity Books – For quiet time or travel moments.

  • Notebook & Pens/Crayons – Journal your adventures or draw what you see!

Toiletries

  • Toothbrush & Toothpaste – Keep those smiles sparkling!

  • Hairbrush/Comb – Tidy hair for tidy adventurers.

  • Shampoo & Conditioner – Travel-sized, if possible.

  • Body Wash/Soap – For those refreshing showers.

  • Sunscreen – Very important! Protect your skin.

  • Bug Spray – Keep the bugs away during evening walks.

Safety Items

  • First Aid Kit – This is something I always bring with me when we go on adventures: But I cannot give out any medication so it’s important that children have on them any medication or special items they might need

  • Emergency Contact List – For the nanny’s quick access.

Travel Day Essentials

  • Travel Pillow – For a comfy ride.

  • Travel Games – Keep entertained during the journey, there are some great road trip bingo cards you can print for long journeys.

  • Snacks – Healthy and fun ones for the journey.

Happy packing!
