Hello! I’m Sophie, a fully insured and first-aid qualified nanny based in Morzine. I love my work and I always seek to ensure the children in my care make core memories they can’t wait to tell their parents about at the end of the day.
I serve the areas of Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, and the wider valley. With over a decade of experience working with children of all ages, I aim to provide friendly, purposeful, and professional childcare.
Your child’s safety, happiness, and growth are my top priorities. I offer activities tailored to their interests. Some of my favourite activities are; swimming, sledging, treasure hunts, and exploring local nature. I try to ensure every day is active and fun, and we make some core memories!
I always hope for the best weather but prepare for the worst! On my first day I bring a box of games, toys, and crafts to keep any indoor time exciting. These items can be used in the evenings, so children stay happily occupied while parents unwind.

How much will this cost me?
My rates range between €25-40 per hour depending on the amount of hours required, the week of your holiday booking, and the location of your accomodation.
My best rate is based on up to 2 children, in central Morzine, for full days (9-5) for a full week (5 days).

Can you help with ski school pick ups and lunches?
The short answer is yes - of course!
Having worked in the resort for 3 years, I am familiar with most of the ski school pick up and drop of points, I have a full PDS season pass and am more than happy to pick up and drop off children from ski school.
I am also more than happy to whip up a nutritious lunch, as long as this is okay with your chalet staff.
What are your qualifications?
l am a qualified teacher (UCL Institute of Education), with a specialism in Special Education. In addition I have over 10 years experience working with children from 4 weeks to 16 years. I have spent the last 3 years working in Morzine as a nanny and outdoor pursuits educator.
I am fully first aid trained, including wilderness first aid. I am extremely passionate about my work. Ensuring the children in my care have a fun and safe experience is paramount to me. Feel free to ask me more about my childcare ethos.
Do you offer babysitting?
I sure do. I charge babysitting at €20 per hour for my daytime clients, and €25 per hour for babysitting only. This is based on 1-5 children. For larger groups or special requirements please send further details in your enquiry.
